Tanglish is a portmanteau word from Tamil and English . It is a mixture of English and Tamil. This new form of language is getting increasingly popular day by day in urban Tamil Youth, notable example being Why this kolaveri di?. The characteristics of this language include adding the "fy" at the end of a Tamil word and adding "u" at the end of an English word as in Kolaveri like "Moon-u, Moon-u....Girl-u, Girl-u........white-u,white-u...." and many more.
